"Coming into our wedding, the one thing that everyone told us was to look for the best photographer because those will be the evidence of all of the money you spend and the memories that you will cherish. That is exactly what we found when we met with Laura and Jon. From the moment that we spoke to Laura, the stress of the wedding seemed to diminish because it was evident that they knew what they were doing and we did not have to worry about a moment not being captured.

The engagement session was a blast. Laura and Jon made us at ease and we were able to enjoy the day, even with all of the stress from planning the wedding. "We were planning our wedding when on a Sunday afternoon we visited a wedding coordinator's office. After reviewing lots of photo albums we decided that we both liked the same one - it was Laura's work. The lady called Laura immediately and she met with us that same afternoon with very little notice. From the get-go we noticed that it would be easy to work with her.

She presented us with several wedding package options and helped us choose the one that suited us better. We signed the contract that afternoon and from that point on it was just a matter of waiting. Laura was very good about keeping in touch during that time.

"Dear Laura,
Jon was fabulous and I really liked Rory as well (so much that I gave her the bouquet!). I would have Jon photograph me again in a second, and will probably do that for my next business venture. You can be very specific with him, which was nice. He did exactly what we wanted. I looked at other photos first and I had some specific ideas. We told him we wanted any random wildlife we encountered, and it's in there. We told him we did not want unnecessary inanimate photos (like the dress on the hanger) and we have none of that. We told him we wanted lots of candid shots and we have great ones. We wanted lots of family shots and we have heaps of them. And he captured all of our backgrounds as well.

He also is very patient. We dragged him all over big sur and carmel (and in the morning it was freezing and raining on us) for our photos. He dealt with all of my makeup touchups, potty stops, etc. Jon even drove the van we rented so we wouldn't get mussed up AND he kept me from running into a bunch of poison oak when we were shooting in the wildflowers!
It did not take long before I was 100% relaxed with Jon (I think I could have easily done those getting dressed shots with him, though we did them with Rory). I credit much of our wedding day success to Jon and Rory, because we ran the entire day's schedule with them. Thank you so much,"
